“There is always something happening at the Tower!”
Pastor McLennon hails from Kingston, Jamaica. He is the son of the Late Bishop W.L. McLennon, the Late Mother Etta Pearl McLennon, and the youngest of 9 siblings.
He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at the early age of 9 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at age 12. He migrated to New York City from Jamaica West Indies in 1983 and transferred his congregational membership to Greater Bible Way Temple (GBWT) under Bishop Huie L. Rogers. He served on the “On Fire for God” Youth Choir and the GBWT Mass Choir as a youth.
Pastor McLennon answered his calling to serve the Lord while living in Baltimore County, MD, at New Imani Community Church. He served the Lord under the late Rev. K. Aaron Lee in the Computer Tech. Ministry, Camp New Imani as a youth Counselor, Core Team Member, Bible Study Leader, and Evangelism Explosion. Additionally, Pastor McLennon was awarded Distinction in Discipleship Ministry with the Sons of Thunder and served on the Ministerial Team.
In late 2006, Pastor McLennon was led by the Lord to Greater New Life Praise and Worship Center in Suitland, MD, to serve as a Minister of the Gospel under Bishop Brian L. Collins. He faithfully served in worship services, and the brotherhood, and he briefly served on the Sanctuary Choir and the Bishop’s Choir and was very helpful on the BBQ Grille.
Today, Pastor Jerome M. McLennon is a District Elder and Bishop-Elect in the Bible Way Church World Wide Incorporated(BWCWW, Inc.) organization. He has answered the call to Pastor Prayer Tower Bible Way Apostolic Faith Church as Shepherd. He has been called by the Lord to be the Agent of Transformation through much grace and in obedience, to teach, to preach, and to share the Good News of Salvation gained by all from Jesus’ death on the cross and his resurrection from the grave.
Pastor McLennon believes in Discipleship, Evangelism, reclaiming surrendered grounds back to the believers, and Healing by the Power and Authority of the Holy Ghost through Prayer and Fasting. He is a man of unbelievable faith and incredible strength.
Pastor McLennon has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, working in management for associations in the DMV area. He currently resides in the beautiful community of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and is the devoted husband to his lovely wife, First Lady Marjorie McLennon, and a Loving Dad to his only child Tyreik McLennon. Pastor McLennon is committed to his family and the work of the ministry. He and his wife are owners/operators of Bright Starts Educational Daycare in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
